Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the CompassX Android application ("CompassX", "the app", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
By installing or using CompassX, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the app on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
CompassX provides the following features, which require certain device permissions:
All permissions are requested at runtime and can be revoked at any time via Android system settings. Some features will not be available if the relevant permission is denied.
The accuracy of compass direction, heading, speed, and location readings depends entirely on the hardware sensors available on your device (e.g. magnetometer, gyroscope, GPS/GNSS receiver). Sensor quality and calibration vary between devices and environments, and readings may be affected by magnetic interference, buildings, weather conditions, or other factors outside our control.
CompassX is intended for general informational purposes only and must not be used as the sole or primary navigation aid in situations where accuracy is critical to safety (including but not limited to hiking, aviation, maritime navigation, or emergency response). Always use certified navigation equipment and follow applicable safety guidelines.
The developer makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of any information provided by the app.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from:

We may release updates to the app from time to time. Some updates may be required for the app to continue functioning correctly. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app (or any feature of it) at any time without prior notice.
We may also amend these Terms at our sole discretion. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after a revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
